TRAVELLER MEN?S PROJECT WORKER ? PART TIME
NTDC invites applications for a Traveller Men?s Project Worker,
fixed duration with responsibility for developing a Traveller Men?s
Project in North Tipperary to build the capacities of ? and
opportunities for - Traveller men in North Tipperary to achieve
secure, consistent and sustainable employment.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
* Be an experienced Community Development professional capable of
working with multiple stakeholders across a broad spectrum of need and
capacity
* Have experience of working in the social sector - either in
statutory or community and voluntary settings
* Have prior experience of working with Travellers (and, in
particular, Traveller men) or, at a minimum, with other highly
marginalised groups in Irish society
* Have a deep understanding of core concepts such as social
inclusion, community development, human rights and equality, and will
be able to apply these concepts to building employment opportunities
for Traveller men
Remuneration will be commensurate to experience and education on the
Project Worker Salary Scale. This is a part time position ? **Apply
